MA Custom to specjalna odmiana przetwornika Hathor 8Bucker. Uzwojenia pozostały te same, lecz zmianie został poddany układ magnetyczny. Jeden magnes Alnico 8 został zastąpiony trzema magnesami ceramicznymi. 8Bucker sam z siebie jest bardzo mocnym przetwornikiem. Wersja Custom również charakteryzuje się dużym outputem, lecz modyfikuje jego środkowe pasmo lekko je wycofując i dodając więcej górnego zakresu. Magnesy Alnico mają w swojej naturze ocieplać brzmienie, natomiast ceramiczne dodają brzmieniu pickupa więcej sterylności, są bardziej neutralne. MA Custom sprawdzi się w każdym gatunku ciężkiej muzyki, z tą myślą został zaprojektowany.

MA Custom is a special variation of the Hathor 8Bucker pickup. The windings remain the same, but the magnetic circuit has been changed. One Alnico 8 magnet has been replaced with three ceramic magnets. The 8Bucker itself is already a very powerful pickup. The Custom version also features a high output but slightly modifies its midrange by attenuating it and adding more presence. Alnico magnets add warmth to the tone, while ceramic magnets add more clarity and neutrality to the pickup’s sound. MA Custom is suitable for any genre of heavy music and was designed with that in mind.
