W modelu BGV zamiast jednego magnesu sztabkowego i stalowych rdzeni jak w klasycznych humbuckerach, używamy dwunastu magnesów walcowych Alnico, spotykanych zazwyczaj w singlach. Założeniem była budowa przetwornika o szerokim paśmie i jasnym brzmieniu, to podyktowało taką właśnie konstrukcję. BGV jest humbuckerem o brzmieniu zdecydowanie bardziej zbliżonym do mocnego singla niż typowego humbuckera. W tym modelu użyte są magnesy Alnico 5, więc sygnał jest dość mocny. Przetwornik BGV dedykowany jest w pozycję pod gryf. W modelu BGV oba rzędy magnesów wyjątkowo są nieregulowane, to ze względu na specyficzną konstrukcję tego modelu.

BGV is a special humbucker. So what makes it exceptional? Instead of using a single bar magnet and steel pole pieces like in traditional humbuckers, we utilize twelve cylindrical Alnico magnets typically found in single coils. The goal was to create a pickup with a wide frequency response and bright tone, which led to this particular construction. BGV is a humbucker that sounds much closer to a powerful single coil than a typical humbucker. It features Alnico 5 magnets, providing a fairly strong signal. The BGV pickup is specifically designed for the neck position. In the BGV model, both rows of magnets are non-adjustable due to the specific design of this model.
